Ride is a motorcycle ride-sharing coordination platform that connects bike enthusiasts for group and solo rides. References to "Ride", "we", "us", or "our" refer to the operators of this platform.

We do not collect financial information, payment details, or government identity documents.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Account management: Creating and maintaining your account, authentication via OTP.
- Ride coordination: Displaying ride listings, enabling you to create and join rides.
- Profile features: Displaying your name, avatar, and registered bikes to other users.
- Safety & security: Detecting and preventing fraudulent or abusive activity.
- Platform improvement: Analysing usage patterns to improve features and performance.
- Communication: Sending OTPs and, where opted in, platform notifications.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Location Information
When creating a ride, you provide origin and destination locations. These are stored to display routes and meeting points to participants. We do not continuously track your real-time GPS location.
5. Profile Photos & Avatars
Profile images you upload are stored on our servers and are visible to other logged-in users. Please do not upload images containing sensitive personal information.
6. Sharing of Information
- Other Ride users: Your name, profile photo, and bike details may be visible in the context of rides you create or join.
- Service providers: Trusted vendors (e.g., hosting providers, SMS/OTP gateways) who process data under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect user safety.
7. Third-Party Services
Ride integrates with Google Maps for routes. Google's data use is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. OTP delivery is handled by a third-party SMS provider who receives your phone number solely for that purpose.
8. Data Retention
- Account data is retained for as long as your account is active.
- Ride data is retained for record-keeping and safety purposes.
- OTPs expire immediately after use and are not stored.
- Upon account deletion, personal information is removed within 30 days, except where required by law.
9. Data Security
We implement encrypted sessions, hashed passwords, and access controls. However, no system is completely infallible. Please use a strong, unique password and do not share your OTPs.
10. Your Rights
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data via your profile settings.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
- Withdraw consent for optional communications at any time.
